Creative Critical Reflection

The final reflection about my final project, Bananaed boy. Which include four categories:

 * How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

* How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

* How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

* How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

ComedyMeaning

“The core of comedy is tragedy.”

people always say that, because the mojarity think that Tragedy could bring out more meaning, and movie need meaning.

Therefore in lots of the Comedy movie, there are definetly some of the sad scenes. However what if we just create a Comedy which got no meaning but all of meaning?

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

How did you integrate technologies
– software, hardware and online – in this project?

The editing software I am using is JianYing, a very beginner editing software, but it also has basic functions, such as cutting and connecting some videos, importing some audio, and implementing some filters on JianYing. The disadvantage of this software is that it is too beginner and lacks some more professional color matching and editing techniques. It has already completed many editing techniques on its own and used them as fragments for me to directly import, which reduces the difficulty of getting started, but also reduces my learning in editing.

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

Our findings reveal one word: diversity.
Whether it's a bizarre "bad" boy, a "girl" with blazing red lips and an orange-red wig, or a banana guy who only appears in the youngster's imagination, they all highlight the diversity of this culture and even the world. They can be grandiose confessions or subtle separations.
My overall interpretation of the story is negative. Banananism is the title of the entire film, and Banana Boy is only a small part of it. This word, in my opinion, is like the banana attached to the wall at an art exhibition. Humans determine an item's value, and if it appears on supermarket shelves, it will never reach a price of several million dollars.

Further Detail

This is similar to people, except that humans can not only be bestowed with value, but also produce additional value. On a another level, the oxidized black patches on bananas can be compared to stains on people's bodies. They only spread slowly until the black blotches covered the entire body and progressively eroded the center. Returning to the video, the Banana Boy portrays a troubled adolescent who offers delight to others around him and adds color to their otherwise monotonous existence. This could be the value he has produced.

Further Further Detail

And while some sexual implications, such as the banana itself and "funny" clips in dubbing, can be considered low-level and crude jokes, they are unquestionably the greatest alternative when we lack the skills to make higher-level jokes. With modern society's increasing openness, people are gradually choosing to confront these taboos in stereotypes of the past and present, rather than viewing them as an unspeakable shame.

In addition, there are certain additional groups in our work, such as lesbian and transgender organizations, which have also gotten a lot of attention in recent years.

About

BAD BOY

I didn't put this absolute protagonist on any blog, but instead presented it separately. He is the core of the entire drama and the character I created after studying Media for a year. He has a clear personality: he thinks he is cool, pretends to be aloof, does some outrageous things, and always doesn't follow the rules; At the same time, as I mentioned in Blog9, he also has a simple and ignorant heart that only follows his father's instructions to do it.

Character

Just like his designed action, he swallowed a whole banana in one gulp, threw banana peels everywhere, pulled out his buttocks and ran to his crush, all of which demonstrated his carefree and abnormal thinking as a character.

He actually represents a mixture of chaotic adolescence and crazy ideas that often pop up in my mind, just like he does anything without reason, looks funny, and may not even know why he did it himself.

And these ideas sometimes align with humor, humor, and humor, while absurdity also reveals a bit of logic and purpose. I have stuffed many of the scumbags I want to do and dare not do onto this character, such as having apron on, blazer off, and badboy on the wall, deliberately breaking the rules and boldly seeking love, even though the methods and forms are very unattractive.
